Letters go out on your letterhead, the week a business needs you.
Every day we watch for the moment a food business in your patch needs work
doing. A new kitchen opening up. A hygiene rating that's just dropped. When it
happens, we print your letter on your letterhead and put it in the post.
Nobody else gets sent the same name.

We work with food businesses across Falmouth, and we can have you
ready for re-inspection inside 48 hours.
A worked example, start to finish. A rating drops from 5 to 3 and a letter
goes out on your letterhead, while you're on a job.

You're paying to fight over the same names
You know how this one goes. £60 to £120 a month for the listing. Another £15 to
£40 every time somebody fills in a form. Then you ring them and they've already
had three calls that morning, because the same form went to three of you.
-
They already know they need you
We're not waiting for somebody to fill in a form. We're watching for the thing
that happens just before a business starts spending. A kitchen opens. A rating
slips. An inspection is coming and they know it.
-
Nobody else gets your names
We don't sell clicks, and once a name has gone to you it doesn't go to anyone
else. While you're subscribed, your area is off the market for your trade.
That's enforced in the database, not by us remembering.
-
You set it up once
Write your letter, and that's your bit done. After that, anything that fires in
your patch gets printed and posted for you. You're not keeping a list and
you're not writing letters on a Sunday night.
Directories sell the click. We hold the territory.

Four things we watch for
Each one tells you something different about what a business is about to spend
money on. You pick the ones your trade can actually sell into.
new
A new place opens
Day one, before anyone else has been near them.
It turns up before it's been inspected and before it's picked a single
supplier. Most of the volume is here, and it's the one trigger that fires in
every kind of area.

A rating drops
They got re-inspected and came out worse than last time.
This is the one everybody wants, and it doesn't happen often. A handful per
council in a year. That's exactly why it's worth holding a whole area rather
than sharing one.

The score behind the score slips
On these sub-scores, a higher number is worse.
The headline rating and the scores underneath it move separately, so a place
can still be showing a 4 or a 5 while its cleanliness score goes the wrong way.
Anyone filtering on "0 to 2" walks straight past these.

A low rating going stale
Sitting on a 3 or below, and nobody's been for a year and a half.
They know somebody's due. This is the trigger that keeps a quiet rural patch
worth having, because it doesn't depend on much happening.

More coming
Safety notices, fire safety, licence applications and company registrations are
being built. They're not in the product yet, so we're not going to sell them to you
as though they are.
How you reach them
Post now. Phone and email at launch.
Everything goes out as a letter today, and that's not a consolation prize. Your
letterhead on the manager's desk the week the result lands does better than a
cold email into an info@ address nobody reads.
Letters
Working now
Printed and posted for you, on your letterhead, the working day after something
fires in your patch.
Phone and email
Building for launch
Contact details on top of the trigger, so you can ring while it's still warm and
follow up in writing.
Who you're allowed to call
Building for launch
Every business marked as a limited company or a sole trader, so you know which
rules apply before you dial.
Worth knowing
Whether a business is a limited company or a sole trader decides whether anyone is
allowed to ring it or email it at all. The rules are different for each, and most
food businesses are sole traders. We're checking that per business rather than
handing you a pile of numbers and letting you find out the hard way.
You'll see the real count before you pay
When your area comes up, we'll show you what actually happened in it over the last
twelve months. The councils you'd be covering, split by trigger and by trade. No
range, and no "up to".
Your patch, measured
A pest controller and a shopfitter get different numbers for the same postcodes,
because they buy different triggers and can sell to different places.
The count errs low on purpose
A place inspected twice in the window only gets counted once, and anything
that's since shut doesn't get counted at all. If the number's wrong, it's wrong
in your favour.
How fast the letter goes
Within one working day of the change showing up in the data we watch. That's the
honest clock. A change has to be published before anyone can see it, and that
doesn't happen at the same speed everywhere. We've watched one batch arrive
across six days.
So when someone promises 24 hours
Ask them how they know the inspection happened. Nobody in this market is faster
than the moment the result gets published, whatever they put on their pricing
page.
Set it up once
Then it runs without you
It's your letterhead
Your logo and your own wording, with the badges you hold. CHAS, BAFE, whatever's
on the van. Nothing on the page says our name.
It fills in the details
The business name, the town, the rating. You write the sentence once and we drop
the specifics into it.
Letters are free
You pay for the territory, not the letter. Every trigger that fires in your
patch goes out printed and posted, at no extra cost, for as long as you hold the
area.
Fixed footer
Every letter carries a footer we add ourselves: where the information came from,
that we're independent of any regulator or council, who we are, and how somebody
stops the letters. You can't remove it, and your wording can't push it off the page.
One trade, one territory, one contractor
We're not selling this to everyone in your postcode. Get on the list for your
trade and your area, and you get first refusal when we open there, in the order
you joined. If somebody gives a territory up later it goes back to the list the
same way, 48 hours each turn. We'd rather say that now than let you think it's
yours forever.
Questions worth asking before you join
Is this legal, and does it hold up under GDPR?
GDPR itself is one rulebook, but how it applies here isn't a single answer: it
depends on how each business is set up. Every letter carries a fixed footer
stating where the information came from and how to stop future letters, and it
can't be edited off the page. We also check whether a business is a limited
company or a sole trader, because that decides who's lawfully allowed to be
phoned or emailed, and the two are treated differently before that channel goes
live.
What does it cost?
One price for your territory, based on the number of triggers it produces.
Every letter that goes out after that is free. When your territory opens,
you'll see the real count for it first, so you know what you're buying before
you pay anything.
How exclusive is "one contractor per territory" really?
While you hold it, nobody else in your trade gets sent a name from your area.
That's enforced in the database, not by us remembering. It isn't yours forever
though: see the next question.
What happens if I give up my territory?
It goes back to the waitlist in joining order, released in 48-hour turns.
Whoever's next gets first refusal, same as you did.
Why letters, and not phone or email right now?
Phone and email are badged "Building for launch" because whether a business can
lawfully be rung or emailed depends on whether it's a limited company or a sole
trader, and most food businesses are sole traders. We're checking that per
business first rather than handing you numbers and letting you find out the
hard way.
How is this different from a lead-gen directory?
A directory sells the same enquiry to whoever's paying that month. We watch for
a specific trigger, in your territory, for your trade only, and nobody else
gets that name while you hold the area.
